Säynätsalo is the name of the island in middle Finland my mother and 3 generations of my family originate.

Finland is my favourite place to be. I have so many wonderful memories of this magical little island, it’s never far from my mind.The blues of the lakes and the ever changing flora and fauna, berries and mushrooms growing in the countless magical forests feature in this design.
